I have heard it my entire life, “it takes all kinds to make the world go round.” Such a sentiment rings true after almost forty years of traversing this world. I have met about every kind of person, fat and skinny, short and tall, educated and uneducated, outgoing and introverted, hard working and lazy. I have known people helpful and difficult, thoughtful and thoughtless, funny and not-so. And what life has taught me just about more than anything is the immense value of all these varying types of people. These people “make the world go round” and color our days and shield us from the monotony of unchanging, unchanging people, demeanors, dispositions, deportments. Aren’t you glad that God made mankind with all the varying differences? How boring it would be if everyone, like programmed robots, went about our days marching to the beat of the same drum. I, personally, have found a great degree of enjoyment when I cross paths with someone who walks to the beat of their own drum, and they are unapologetically themselves.
I wish this were true across the board. I wish that everyone just had differences that colored our world…Sadly, there are some “kinds” that shatters people’s worlds. There are some that make peoples world stand still in the worst possible way.
This past week, news broke of another school shooting in which two precious children were murdered and over two dozen more were horrifically wounded. Our world is sick with sin and desperately in need of the Great Physician. Doctors today are proliferating a problem of mental illness that we are constantly bombarded with, the “Trans” disease. People who are confused on their gender, or see themselves as “gender fluid” have been wrecking worlds and taking lives. Recently, a list was circulated online that contained the following information:

Before anyone comes for me, I am well aware that there are other sexual orientations that commit heinous crimes, and that heterosexual people also commit murder. What I cannot “get over” is the fact that so many horrific crimes and murders have been carried out by people who do not know what sex they are- or if they’re even human. These people are mentally unstable and sick. They carry out these horrific murders that shatter our hearts. These are not the people that “make the world go round,” and seemingly they are the ones attacking our children.
The world must stand up and say, “enough is enough.” How many children are going to have to die before we get ahold of the issue- the issue which begins with “affirmative care,” whatever that is! Affirmative care has done nothing but propagate a mental sickness that needs therapy- but without hormones- without genital mutilation. We will only start to overcome this evil with the truth. The truth that states God made man in His image, made them male and female, and made them according to His perfect plan (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5).
Christ is the answer to the sin problem of the world. What we need to do is either get out of His way and allow His influence in the school systems or join Him in the fight for the souls of men. It starts at home- it starts with you! It takes all types to make the world go round, but it only takes one to shatter it. God help us to be what He would have us to be.
