Our Head – Jesus Christ
The head of the church is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the supreme and celestial head of the body, which is His church. (Colossians 1:18) Jesus taught about ‘His’ church and it was established almost 2000 years ago, during the first Pentecost feast following His resurrection, and ascension to receive a prophesied kingdom. (Matthew 16:18) (Acts 2:41,47) (Daniel 7:13,14) Jesus is now seated on the right hand of God, ruling over his kingdom until the time comes when He will return, gather His body of followers to be presented to God. As such, Christ’s kingdom has no earthly headquarters, so his church gives allegiance to heavenly governance and the inspired teachings found in the holy scriptures of Jesus and his apostles. (Colossians 1:13; 3:1) (Acts 2:29-39)(Philippians 3:20) –

Robby Eversole and his family recently joined our family at Eastside in February of 2022. Robby is a 2021 graduate of the Tri-Cities School of Preaching and Christian Development. He is married to Molly Eversole and has two sons, Ethan and Remi. Together, they desire to help lead the lost to Jesus, strengthen the saved to continue in Jesus, and help the church magnify God through His global mission. That mission starts right here in Morganton. Robby loves the mountains and rivers, lakes and streams that God has so richly blessed us with in this region. None of that compares to preaching the Gospel. Come meet our preacher and his family. Come meet his extended family here at Eastside. We would love the opportunity to serve you.
